Each one is handwoven using upcycled materials specially spun using a machine designed by our talented artisans. Each table is as unique as the artisan who created it. Colors may vary depending on the materials available and the chosen pattern of the artisan.

Atelier Norde Inde was started in 2012 in rural North India and supports and empowers women from marginalized communities to start their entrepreneurial journey as artisans. Our artisans here specialize in traditional weaving techniques going back for generations, and use them to create contemporary designs for the home. The beautiful, handmade benches, tables and products that come from Atelier Norde Inde use all natural and upcycled materials that are locally sourced. They promote sustainable living from conception to realization and are dedicated to giving fair wages and entrepreneurial support to the women they employ.
